  1. I am kind of surprised at what you guys have done. Really! When i was 2nd or freshmen i could not do that. I have to say "Awesome". It is very important and useful for English learners especially freshmen who are new to university environment and methods. This program should be conducted more.:)
However, in my opinion, to improve the quality of the show, i suggest that the outside noise should be limited as it is hard to listen. I heard the motor horn, wind and others.
The movie can be recorded in a cafe or class to make it various and colorful.

Thanks for making the show. Great show and nice speakers.

  2. Hi Nhan,

We know about these setbacks and try to improve the show in the future. Thanks for the suggestions. I think we can interview you in some of coming shows. Is it possible that you leave your email address?

    Cheers,

    Viet.

  4. Well, how fantastic! You really did a good job! You spoke so well, fluently and naturally. I do think this kind of show could benefit much.
However, as Nhan said, you should eliminate the noise so that listeners and learners could feel much more comfortable and eager when enjoying the recordings

  5. Congratulations! Great show! I agree that the background noise was kinda distracting but there should be some technical solutions to this (say, recording the sound and image separately). Anyway, the backdrop shouldn't be changed to a cafe or a classroom. The show is produced by ULIS students so it should be filmed at a place typical of the university or department.

  11. I think that it is not important about the place which need to be a typical place og the univeristy because the work you guys have done is great. And the main purpose is helping students to gain skills and more confidence. It is still great if the scenes are set somewhere else as the spirits of the show is still there and everyone highly appreciates that.by the way, it is only my thoughts.
    Cheer,
    Nhan

  12. That sounds great. Nice speakers and nice ideas too. I see that students now become much more active than we used to be. However, the number is not big enough. Anyway, it should be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
However, I am wondering the benefits that could be broght to the others? I mean the number of students involved into this show. It would great if this show reach a great number of HULISers, not just some.

    Cheers!

@ Ly: when I mentioned Eminem, I thought it was a joke only, but then you did apply it :)).

  21. Hi,
It 's very interesting and great show with a little noisy. Both of girls were self confident and having good pronunciation however the director should improve more by trying to link between the actress and the audience, show pictures slower. Go ahead step by step,,,

  22. Nice ideas which can be helpful very much! Nice speakers! However, as other said, the matter is the outsite noise : the wind is so strong, and the vehicles ... Personally, I think recordings should be conducted in classrooms! Good luck!

  23. How interesting. Nice speakers, very good pronunciation and intonation. This proves you've been more and more creative and abundant in outdoor English activities. Keep it up, we're so proud of you guys.

  24. The show is great. It helps not only HULIS students but also English learners all over the world. I'm so proud to be a student of HULIS.

  25. I agree with Nhan's idea. I think that it is not important about place where be conducted the recordings; because we have to accustom oneself to noisy background to improve listening skill. That's great!!!!!!!Thanks so much. I'm make sure that it is very useful for not only the first-year student but also English learners
